The Scrutiny of filled Nomination Papers for Sarpanch and Ward members posts under Village Panchayat Elections, concluded here for all the five divisions in the district. The district Elections Returning Officers strictly examined these nomination papers, here on Saturday. According to the scrutiny, total 28 Sarpanch Nominations and 107 Ward members Nominations were rejected by the officials due to various reasons, which are against to the election regulations. Officials conducted strict scrutiny of nominations papers for all the five divisions like Rajahmundry, Amalapuram, Kakinada, Pedhapuram & Rampachodavaram in the district. While came to the entire district, a total 330 Sarpanch nominations and 1,223 Ward members nominations were rejected by the officials.
