Kakinada Police seized Rs.10 Lakh cash from a Car, here on Monday. According to this, Kakinada DSP Mr. Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy had released a press note, here. He said, the money seized from a car, when the police conducted checks at Atchampeta junction in the view of coming panchayat elections. 'We found some persons carrying cash in a car, so that we caught them and seized the cash and made inquiries about it', he stated. He said, the cash belonged to one of the Engineering College and a realtor in the district, as it is confirmed in the inquiry. He declared that if they show records for the amount, then they will return the cash.
