A total 82 Gram Panchayats have been declared unanimously elected in the district by the officials concerned, here on Wednesday. These unanimously elected gram panchayats include 4 in Kakinada, 6 in Pithapuram, 1 in Tuni, 8 in Amalapuram, 10 in P.Gannavaram, 8 in Razole, 8 in Mummidivaram, 2 in Kothapeta, 3 in Jaggampeta, 2 in Mandapeta, 1 in Rajanagaram, 14 in Ramachandrapuram, 7 in Anaparthi and 7 in Rampachodavaram division. In these, Congress won 27, TDP 10 and leaving the YSRCP with around 9. Remaining are independent candidates. There will be three-cornered contests in some panchayats and one to one in some. However, the elections polling will be conducted for 880 Gram Panchayats in the district.
