The district authorities have arranged a Flood Control Room at Collectorate in Kakinada, as a huge volume of flood water from upstream led to a sharp rise in water level in Godavari on Thursday. The control room was arranged with numbers 0884-2353480 and Toll Free 1077. Speaking on this, the District Collector ordered that the Tahsildars and Special officers should be available in those godavari nearby areas to alert public on this. She called upon the public to notice this.
