Oil Companies hiked the price of petrol by Rs 1.55 per litre, Yesterday. This figure is exclusive of the taxes, effective from midnight. According to the information, the petrol price hike is the fourth of its kind in the past eight weeks, with the last announcement having come on 28th June. However, there will be no change in diesel prices just yet as the revision in its rates are due at the month end. Petrol price in the district, has been hiked by Rs 1.55 per litre to Rs 76.50, effective from midnight, as against previous rate Rs 74.50.
