For the first time, the State Level Kabaddi Technical Officials Awareness Seminar was conducted at JNTU-K, here on Saturday. The program was held under the chairmanship of University Sports Secretary Mr. G.Syam Kumar. According to this, the University Rector Mr. B.Prabhakar Rao has presided over the program as a chief guest. Speaking on this, he stated that the University is not only for education, it also encourages sports for students. 'By analysing the changes regularly, players can reduce mistakes in sports & games', he added. Later, Sports Authority Trainer Mr. Jaganmohan had explained about the future changes in sports to Referee's and Sportsmen in the seminar. Director of Academic Planning Mr. Sai Babu, Principal Mr. K.Padma Raju, Rangers Club President Mr. Kampara Prasad, Secretary Mr. Vasu, S.V.B.S.R.C Club President Mr. N.Prabhakar Rao, Secretary Mr. Vaikuntam, Mr. Y.Tatabbai, Mr. Varma, Mr. Sparjan Raju, Mr. Murali and other sports persons participated in the program.
