Mr. N. Vijay Kumar has been appointed as In-charge Joint Director of East Godavari District Agriculture department. Sources said, the Joint Director Prameela was alleged in a murder case of Adusumilli Jeetendranath, resident of Visakhapatnam and as she absconded from the District while the police were in search of her, hence the State Agriculture Dept Commissioner had appointed Mr. Vijay Kumar as Incharge JD. According to this, Mr. Vijay Kumar has taken charge on the position on Tuesday. Mr. Vijay Kumar has worked as Deputy Director for Pedhapuram Farmers Training center. He also worked as Assistant Joint Director and Agriculture Officer for the District. Speaking on this, he said presently there is no deficit for fertilisers in the District.
