Dark Day-2 Observed in Kakinada

The Electricity department employees strike has plunged the entire Seemandhra region into darkness from last two days. Firstly, the employees call for 48hrs strike but it has been turned to indefinite strike, as they didn't get any positive response from the UPA government. The employees conducted talks with the Ministers on Tuesday, but they were not succeeded. So that the employees decided to meet the Chief Minister, who supporting Samaikyandhra. Sources said, CM Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy has agreed to meet the striking Seemandhra electricity employees Today.

             The electricity employees strike hardly hits the power, water, mobile, health & train services. The strike has plunged all the areas in Kakinada into darkness. All the generating stations in the district remained closed with the striking employees forcibly evicting the remaining staff from the power houses. Kakinada people were experiencing the darkness from past two days. The strike causing severe hardships to patients in Hospitals, affecting the drinking and irrigation water supply, disrupting internet & ATM services. Also many industries, companies & businesses were closed due to the power issue. This leading to cancellation of trains also.

               Today, Janmabhoomi Express Train no: 12806, which will starts from Secunderabad on Wednesday at Morning 7.10am was cancelled due to the power issue. The Railway CPRO Mr. K.Sambasiva Rao had released this to the media. Remaining all the trains will run asusually on Wednesday, may be with some delay, he added.
