Power Staff Call Off Strike

The Electricity employees indefinite strike against to the state bifurcation was called off temporarily in view of cyclone threat to the coastal districts as well as ensuing festivals in the state on Thursday. The employees taken this decision after participating in the Chief Minister's meet. Sources said, the Chief Minister Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy has assured the employees that he would ensure defeat of the Telangana resolution as and when it comes to the state assembly.
         On otherside, the Teachers JAC also decided to call off the strike temporarily from Friday. Speaking on this, the JAC leaders stated 'we don't have right to spoil students career, that is the only reason for this temporary call off but if the bifurcation is being processed in future then we will surely start it again'. It was decided that all the educational institutions will be opened asusually after Dasara festival holidays.
         The residents of Seemandhra region heaved a sigh of relief after listening the electricity employees strike call off. As they have suffered alot from prolonged power outages that crippled all essential & emergency services for five days.
