The District Congress Party President Mr. Dommeti Venkateswarulu, on Saturday, reached the protest camp of the Contract Lecturers, who have been on 36hrs Hunger strike infront of the Collectorate in Kakinada. As we know, the Contract Lecturers from Government Junior Colleges in the district, launched 36hrs Hunger Strike on Friday, by demanding the regularisation of their services, implementation of Cabinet Sub-Committee recommendations. Listening to this, Mr. Dommeti Venkateswarulu reached the camp and assured them that he will discuss this issue with the State Chief Minister and Educational Minister. EX-MLA Mr. Vanamadi Kondababu, Educationalist Mr. Pothula Viswam, Kakinada City Congress President Mr. Kampara Ramesh, INTUC President Mr. Sabbathi Phaneswara Rao, Mr. Krishna Chaitanya Reddy, Mr. Delhi Naidu, Mr. Thummalapalli Vasu, CITU Leader Baby Rani and others visited the camp individually and extended their support. Contract Lecturers Union District President Mr. Yarlagadda Raja Chowdary along with Nine other Lecturers participated in this strike. The strike has been concluded here on Saturday Night.
