District Additional Joint Collector, Mr. B.Rama Rao announced that all arrangements have been made for Group-IV examinations, which are to be held on 11th & 12th of August in the district. According to this, he had released a press note here on Friday. He said that, as many as 63,228 candidates would appear for the Group-IV examinations held at 183 centers in East Godavari District. Nearly 55,724 candidates will appear for the Junior Assistants and Junior Accountants test to be held on the first day, from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 4.30pm at 163 centers in Kakinada (eight mandals), Rajahmundry (seven mandals), and Peddapuram (three mandals). Mr. Rama Rao stated that 36 Tahsildars had been appointed as Liaison officers to these examinations. He had instructed the chief superintendents of the examination centers that not to allow any smoking, coffee, tea, breakfast or lunch in the halls and also he made it clear that invigilators should not read the question papers which were given to candidates or any magazines, etc.,. AJC said that candidates were not allowed to take any books, papers, cell phones, calculators and other electronic goods into the examination halls.
