Mr. DVSSSV Prasad was honoured with PHD by JNTU Kakinada for his talent. Mr. DVSSSV Prasad who belongs to Kakinada shined in his studies from his schooling. He has pursued his schooling from West Godavari district, Engineering in Production from Nagpur University and M-Tech in Machine Designing from JNTU Kakinada. Later he pursued MBA from IGNOU New Delhi and then conducted research on High Carbon and High Chromium Steel in his PHD at JNTUK. Dr. Gopal from Mechanical department has been his Guide during his research work. He experimented with different settings in Wire Electric Discharge Machining. For each and every setting, he found the relation between the input parameters of machine and quality of the product, with the help of Response Surface Methodology. For Optimisation he used Genetic Algorithm in this research. Finally his research has fructified and was very useful in manufacturing a quality product by saving Machine Time, Operator Time, Engineer Time, Power and Input Material. This is very useful to all High Carbon and High Chromium Steel producing industries.
