Chairman of Industrial Federation Mr. B.V. Rama Rao yesterday at R&B Bunglow said to press meet that 33% VAT imposed on Diesel should be removed as there is no other way for supplying power to Industries through out the state. Meter Demanding (MD) charges ie., Rs. 250 per KVA should also be removed, he added. He strongly stated that if these demands are not implemented then they will stop paying electric bills, term loans & interests in banks from 31st of July onwards. He also stated that considering electricity problems as National problem is very foolish on CM's part and it clearly says that he doesnt have any knowledge on Industrial sector. Atleast there are no transmission lines to get electric supply from other states, he added. Government has no forward vision on Electricity, he added. Cheif Minister has said that Rs. 6,49,000 crores will be allocated to Industrial sector, but not even Rs. 10.000 crores were allocated to invest on this, he added. Similarly no one is willing to invest on Industrial sector, he added. To promote Industrial Field we will adopt Raaja Nagaram Constituency, he stated. He intimated that they are going to conduct Industrial meet on 7th of August in Koorukonda. He also stated that they will encourage the youth in Raaja Nagaram by helping them in setting up small industries.
