Civil Supplies department has learnt a lesson from Swarnandhra Rice Mill in last years custom milling. This time civil supplies department people were very alert and taken special care in collecting 2011-12 Rabi custom milling. 3114 metric tonnes paddy were distributed in 18 rice mills and from that 2086 metric tonnes of Rice was collected on a whole. This year they obtained 100% in custom milling by reaching all the targets. Swarnandhra Rice mill has not given them the pending 630 metric tonnes of rice that is to be given in 2010-11. With this civil supplies has lost Rs. 1.28 crores. All this amount was gained by Swarnandha Rice mill. Civil supplies department had filed a case on this mill long ago. Till now they have collected Rs. 61 lakhs from them and still Rs. 67 lakhs is left to collect from them.
