Group 2 examination was conducted peacefully on the first day (yesterday). It was held from 2pm to 4:30pm in the afternoon. 17,491 attended the examination out of 26,642 applicants in the district. About 5 lakh people in the state applied for this examination even when the requirement is less than 1000. Examination centers in the district were organised in Kakinada, Samalkot, Pithapuram, Peddhapuram, Gollaprolu, Thallarevu, Pedapudi and Karapa mandals. Examination was held in 83 centers in the district. 21 Thasildars were appointed as liezan officers to conduct examination peacefully. Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad said that examination was peacefully conduced in 38 centers in Kakinada. All the examination centers were provided with Electricity, Sanitation & Drinking water, she added. All arrangements are made ready to conduct second day examination Today from 10am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 4.30pm.
