Mrs. Thota Saraswati alias Vani, who was on indefinite hunger strike for the past six days, was forcibly removed by the police from the strike camp at Bhanugudi center in Kakinada at around 1.40am on Friday. According to the Chief Minister and other officials orders, the District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad and SP Mr. N.Shiva Shankara Reddy reached the camp and requested her to give up the fast, but she refused. So that they forced her and taken to the Government general hospital for medical assistance and later shifted to Trust hospital as per the doctors suggestion. The police beefed up security during the course of shifting Vani from the camp. Sources said, she refused to take the medical aid and said that she would continue her fast at the hospital. So that the doctors conducted medical checkups when she was sleeping on Yesterday night. Doctors declared that her condition was unstable due to fall in blood-pressure level. Many political officials visiting the hospital to wish Vani.
