Samaikyandhra Protests Continue

Samaikyandhra agitation has reached 18th day. AP NGOs continuing their protest against to the CWC decision for state bifurcation. All the NGOs from the district supporting the stir. They have arranged a protest camp infront of the Collectorate in Kakinada.

On Friday, Collectorate Employees conducted Motor cycle rally. JNTU-K Students & Staff JAC continuing their protests. PR Degree College Students conducted relay hunger strike. Panchayati Employees conducted a big rally. Gandhi Nagar Park Walkers club members conducted protests in the park premises. Kakinada Municipal Corporation employees conducted protest. Commissioner Mr. Ravi Kumar supported the protest. Instead of performing the auspicious ‘Varalakshmi pooja’ at a temple or home during this ‘Sravana Sukravaram’, the girl students and women employees took to roads and carried out the pooja infront of the public on Friday. It was indeed a protest with a difference opposing State bifurcation move. Many other sections from the society added protests in their own way to Samaikyandhra movement demanding to keep the state united.

On otherside, huge number of police forces came to the city to control the situation. The forces observing all the areas in the city to avoid violence of the activists.
