Joint Collector, K. Sasidhar, on Saturday, said special officers were deputed at the mandal level to monitor the distribution of 20 Kg of Rice and 5 Litres of Kerosene. The administration is distributing to 1,68,976 families which are affected by cyclone in 42 mandals of the District. Mr. Sasidhar warned that delay in the distribution would not be spared. He said the special officers would monitor the distribution of coupons as well as rice and kerosene to the beneficiaries. The special officers would conduct surprise visits to the revenue offices and the fair price shops as part of monitoring the distribution, he added.
