Kakinada Rural MLA, Mr. Kannababu has requested the government to postpone the Beach Festival, which is to be celebrated on 29 & 30th of this month at Kakinada beach. Speaking with media on this, he said that he requested to postponed the festival, only because of Neelam cyclone effect, as there is a huge loss in Kakinada rural & other places in the district. The main reason is people are not completely recovered from this issue, so it is required to postpone the festival for the sake of public, he added. According to this, he submitted an appeal letters to State Minister of Tourism department, Chief Secretary of the department and District Collector by requesting to postpone the festival.
