Minister for Stamps & Registration, Mr. Thota Narasimham has announced that the 'Telugu Language Celebrations' will be conducted for one month in the district. He had conducted a meet with respective officials on the review of 'World Telugu Mahasabhas' to be held at Tirupati from 27th to 29th of this month from village to district level. Speaking on this, he ordered officials to celebrate Telugu Language month from 22nd of November to 22nd of December in the district reflecting the importance of Telugu Mahasabhas. He said, the fund of Rs.20 Lakhs would be released for these celebrations. He ordered DRO Mr. B.Yadagiri to conduct these celebrations in village, mandal & division level in the district. Later, speaking on this, Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad has said that special committee will be formed with 10 members to organize cultural programmes to educate people on the importance of Telugu language. She said those who made efforts for development of telugu language would be feliciated at mandal and divisional level.
