City MLA Mr. Dwarampudi Chandra Shekar Reddy has stated that every individual should struggle for the protection of Child Rights. He had participated as a chief guest in 'Child Rights Protection Weekly Celebrations' conducting by Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) here on Saturday at Social Welfare building in Recharlapeta, Kakinada. Speaking on this, he said, educational system should be implemented completely to give bright future to the children. He called upon the public to eradicate child labour in the city. All the children below 14years should go to the school, he noticed. Later, speaking on this, ICDS Program Director Mrs. Kameswaramma has announced about the Government schemes, which are implementing for the protection of child rights in the district. Later, they have distributed maternity bands to around 334 mothers, who are having one or two girl childs. CDPO K. Jayarani, Supervisors K. S. R. Lakshmi, Esther Santha Kumari, Y. Lakshmi, Health Secretary Vijaya Lakshmi and others participated in the program.
