Chandra Pratyusha, who belongs to Kakinada, has received State Level 'Bala Ratna Award' from Chief Minister Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on Children's Day in a program held at Ravindra Bharati auditorium in Hyderabad. She got this award according to her performance in Creative Writing competitions, which are conducted by Bal Bhavan at Vijayawada. She bagged this award among 200 members of participants from various places in the state. She was studying 8th standard at St. Josephs School in Kakinada. Speaking on this, she stated that 'she got this award because of the encouragement of her Parents & Teachers'.
