Reliance Industries has donated Rs. 1 Crore of funds to the district under Dhirubhai Ambani encouragement scheme. According to this, the company Head Seaport Services Officer Mr. Ravi Chandran had given the cheque of Rs.1 Cr to the Collector, here on Friday. These funds were released by the company with a motto to provide Corporate education for poor students for 2013-14 academic year in the district. Speaking on this, the District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad has appreciated the company by doing such social activities. Reliance company representatives Mr. V.V.D.Prasad, Mr. Venkata Reddy and others participated in the program.
