The South Zone Inter University Basketball (Boys) Tournament will be starts, Today at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU-K) Indoor stadium. According to the sources, these competitions will be conducted upto 24th of this month. JNTU-K Sports Council and Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi were jointly organising this tournament. JNTU-K Vice Chancellor Dr. Tulasi Ram Das, State Basketball Association General Secretary Mr. T.V.S.N.Prasad, DSDO Mrs. S.V.Ramana were going to attend this program as chief guests. A total 800 students from 66 Universities of South India are going to participate in this tournament. The university officials were doing all the necessary arrangements for this tournament. JNTU-K Sports Council Secretary Mr. Syam Kumar has appointed as the Organising Secretary of the Tournament.
