National Chemistry Day, was observed here on Monday at ASD Women Degree College at Jagannaickpur in Kakinada. According to this, Senior Scientist Mr. M. R. R. Prasad has participated as a chief guest to the program. Speaking on this, he explained the students about the role of Chemical Sciences in Country's development. The program was held under the chairmanship of Chemistry H.O.D Mr. Chennarao. Various Quiz & Essay writing competitions were conducted in the program. He had given Rs.1000/- for a student, who bagged first rank in Chemistry subject, in the remembrance of his Father Mr. Palagummi Rammurthy. Later, he had presented the prizes to the winners of quiz & essay writing competitions.
