District Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad, has stated that they are doing grand arrangements to conduct Kakinada Beach Festival from 11th to 13th of January in the district. According to this, she had conducted a review meet with all respective officials here on Tuesday at Collectorate, along with Rural MLA Mr. Kanna Babu. Flower Festival, Food Festival, Dog Show & many more events are to be organized in this 3-day fest, she added. She said that, we are taking necessary actions to develop tourism in the district. As a part of this, we have started works to provide all necessary amenities for Mada forest visitors. We are also providing road facility with expenses of Rs. 40 Lakhs at the forest area, she added. We are going to provide Silparamam & Silpa Kala Park at Kakinada beach area, she informed. Joint Collector Mr. A. Babu, DRO Mr. Yadagiri, DRDA Program Director Mr. Madhukar Babu and other officials participated in the program. She asked the officials to attend the second review meet on coming Monday.
