District Level Inter Schools Greig Sports Competitions were started here on Tuesday at RMC Sports Grounds in Kakinada. According to this, Rangaraya Medical College Principal Mrs. R. Maha Lakshmi has presided over the program as a chief guest. Speaking on this, she stated that every student should improve his/her talent in sports and cultural activities along with studies. Firstly, she has introduced the players and started the competitions. These competitions will be conducted for only boys, for sports like Basketball, Hockey, Table Tennis, Tennis & Football. On the first day, Basketball competitions were being started between Ramachandrapuram and Kakinada Ideal college teams. Under-19 School Games Association Secretary Mr. Y. Tatabbai, RMC Physical Education Director Mr. K. Sparjan Raju, Ideal College Physical Education Director Mr. Varma, Tallarevu Junior College Physical Education Director Mr. Sitapathi, Greig's Secretary Mr. T. V. S. Ranga, Basketball Association Treasurer Mr. Chakravarthi and others participated in this program.
