District police halfyearly progress was organised by Eluru range DIG Surya Prakash Rao yesterday at Vidhana Goutami Hall in collectorate. Pointing the recent quarrel between two IAS officers, he requested to solve department problems within themselves and not to get on roads. Dont bring every small problem into the notice of higher officers, he added. He warned them to stop department settlements and said that house officers will be responsible if any corruption activity occurs even at Constable level. He ordered to respect  and provide protection and justice to every victim who visits police station to file a complaint and also asked to provide receipts to their complaints. SP Trivikram Varma raised some doubts related to law and order. Honourable district third additional special judge Mr. K.Durga Rao cleared all the doubts raised in this meeting. Police officers remainded about the delay of wound certificates that are to be issued in GGH, Superintendent of GGH Mr. Venkat Buddha responded to this and said will take care of this matter. SP Trivikram  informed everyone that they were able to recover 80% of the stolen items.
