Increase in diesel price has incresed many problems. RTC along with Fishermen will face these problems and also genral public is going to face problem. Every day around 16,000 liters of diesel is being utilized by all the rtc buses in the district, so merely Rs.30 lakhs extra burden is going to fall on RTC. Beside this RTC has already forwarded an application to government for the approval of increase in transportation fare, and received information that givernment has approved their request. If this happens, there will be hefty hike in fare and thus results in burden on common people. In the same way it is even a big blow to fishermen, as nearly 1lakh 80 thousand liters of diesel per day is being used by all the boats in the district, so nearly Rs.16, 80,000 extra burden is going to fall on them. Kakinada marine  boat owners welfare association president Mr. Kaamadi Maatha Raju said that the concession provided by the governent is very less when compared with the hike in diesel price. If this situation continues, we will be pushed into severe losses, he added. They demanded to increase concession from Rs.6 to Rs.15/- per liter. Passeger Auto Drivers Association agitated yesterday near Balaji Cheruvu center on diesel price hike by displaying autos. They said that this unfair on government part to increase Rs.5 per liter at a time. Thay demanded to immedaitely withdraw the price hike.
