East Godavari District Cricket Team had won their first match in the North Zone Cricket Competitions at Srikakulam district here on Thursday. The team won the match over the opposition Srikakulam team with the difference of nearly 39 runs. According to the sources, East Godavari team had won the toss and elected batting first. But they lost all the wickets and scored 126 runs only, still the Bowler's Karthikeyan, Shoban Babu and Kiran Kumar bagged good number of wickets in their career, and because of the good bowling and fielding, they had won the match. Later, another match was conducted between Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts teams. In this match, Visakhapatnam had won the match with the difference of 36 runs.
