Physically Handicapped people in the district are fighting for their rights. They have staged a huge protest against to the Government here on Thursday, with the support of District Union for the Welfare of Disabled infornt of the Collectorate office in Kakinada. Speaking on this, they stated that no welfare schemes are implementing to them by this government. They grieved that the District Welfare of Disabled department AD is very partial about the welfare schemes and he is not the deserved person for the position, they added. They demanded to provide welfare schemes with 30% subsidy just like SC, ST's. They also demanded for 7% political reservation. Later, they have submitted an appeal letter to Additional Joint Collector, Mr. B. Ramarao here.
