Around 200 members of Samaikyandhra Agitators were arrested, while they tried to storm the house of Union Human Resources Development Minister Mr. M.M.Pallam Raju in Kakinada. Yesterday, as a part of the ongoing Samaikyandhra agitation, the protesters went to Minister's house and staged a big protest there. They also made vain attempts thrice to siege the house. Then the police came into force and erected thorny fences and barricades near the house. But the agitators not stopped their protest and even hurled footwear and stones at the police by raising the slogans against to the Minister and the government. The police resorted to lathicharge to disburse the mob. There was jostling between the agitations and police. It leads to the arrest of the protesters. However, the protesters released after sometime of the incident. This movement was conducted by the NGOs and Employees JAC with support to the Journalists JAC here.
