University Placement Directorate achieved its first success in providing placements for the final year engineering students of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Honeywell, a Multi National Company was started last year in university with an expenditure of Rs 1.5 Cr. Accordingly, this company will conduct 6months training at Bangalore and Karnataka and then will give joining orders. But the company management planned to conduct training program in JNTU Kakinada itself and then joining orders will be given. As the part of this, interaction program was conducted for 50 students from various districts by Honeywell Company Senior Lecturer Srinivasa Raghavan (Bangalore) this Wednesday in ECE Gallery hall. Training program will be started from this month 21st and will run for 5months and then will be selected in Honeywell Company. Speaking on this, University Industrial Institute Interaction, Placement and training director Dr.Padma Raju said that every engineering student must attain job soon after their final year was the main aim of JNTU Vice chancellor Prof.Allam Apparao and this came true today he added. In this program, JNTU College Placement Officer K.Venkata Reddy and others students participated.
