East Godavari District Collector M. Ravi Chandra on Thursday issued orders suspending 11 employees working in social welfare hostels, anganwadi centers and health centers. Mr. Ravi Chandra inspected the integrated hostel at Peddapuram at 6.40 am and found that hostel welfare officer Radha was not attending the duty. He issued orders on the spot suspending the official. Later, he visited the Mandal Parishad Primary School at Vadlamuru at 9 am and by that time the teacher was not there in the school. The Collector also found the absence of anganwadi teacher and aaya at Vadlamuru and Gorinta villages and issued orders suspending them from duties.
