Seminar on Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) was conducted at Rajiv Gandhi Degree College to create awareness among students this Wednesday. While participating as chief guest in this seminar, Orion Calltech representative Harish said that there are approximately 20,000 jobs in BPO sector in the year 2010-11. Keeping this in view, degree students must focus on BPO industry he added. He explained that private organizations are conducting campus interviews in colleges in the name of placements, students must have grip on general knowledge and good communication skills to achieve success in interviews. He also defined and explained the perfect meaning of BPO to students. In this seminar, Principal, Lecturers, Degree 3rd year B.com and BBM students participated.
