State RTI Commissioner Smt. Lam Thanthiya Kumari's 3-days visit to East Godavari district has been concluded here on Friday. She has observed & reviewed each and every department in the district, on this visit. She has conducted review meetings with all the department officials on these days. On the last day meeting, many RTI activists complained to her, that there was no response from many government departments to their queries. They also reported that many important records are missing from various government departments, particularly in Revenue and Municipal administrations. Responding to this, She expressed concern over the matter. She said that the employees should be careful while delivering their duties and every record should be maintained carefully. She instructed the officials to lodge complaint with the police immediately. She also said that a detailed probe should be conducted on the matter of missing of records in various departments.
