A total 250 Metric Tons of Seeds will be supplied to the farmers for this Kharif season in the district, announced by the DCMS President Mr. K.V.Satyanarayana Reddy. On Saturday, speaking with media persons about the Kharif season, he stated that they were taking immediate actions to supply the paddy seeds to the district farmers. He said, they have already started the selling of Swarna & BPT paddy seeds to the farmers through Co-operative Societies in the district. He stated, 'we have sold around 30 Metric Tons of Paddy Seeds, till now in the district. 'We are taking necessary actions to supply chemical fertilisers to the district farmers through MARKFED. As of now, we bought 2600 chemical fertilisers from Nagarjuna Fertilisers. We are storing these chemical fertilisers to save farmers in this Kharif season', he added.
