District CPI(M) Party Leaders & Members were staged a protest against to the hike in Petrol Prices, here on Sunday, infront of the Collectorate in Kakinada. Firstly, they had conducted a rally from Kacheripeta Sundarayya Bhavan towards Collectorate, by shouting slogans against to the Central Government. After reaching the Collectorate, the protesters burnt the effigy of Central Government. Speaking on this, they grieved that the central government has increasing the prices without any idea about the common people in the country. They demanded the Central Government to withdraw the recent petrol hike of Rs.2.66 per litre. CPM Leaders Mr. T.S.Prakash, Mr. Palivela Veerababu, Mr. Medisetty Venkataramana, T.Savitri, Vasamsetty Surya Kumari, M.Veera Lakshmi and other party members were participated in the protest.
