North Coastal Region Inspector General of Police, Mr. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao has ordered the District Police to keep an eye on Maoists movement in the district. Yesterday, he has conducted an official meet with the district police at Police Guest house in Kakinada rural, as a part of his official visit to the district. Speaking with media persons on this, he said, 'we have our own plans and priorities to check Maoists and we cannot make the details public for obvious reasons. But on our part, to put a check on the activities of the Maoists, we are maintaining good rapport with people in the Agency areas', he added. Later, he inaugurated the book, which was written by the Additional SP Mr. K.Satyanarayana. Eluru Range DIG Mr. Vikram Singh Maan, District SP Mr. Siva Shankar Reddy, Rajahmundry Urban District SP Mr. Ravi Kumar Murthy, DSP's. CI's and others participated in the meeting.
