Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad organised a conference with Bankers and Agriculture officers to discuss about loans on LEC cards. She ordered Bankers to speedup the process of sanctioning loans to the elegible tenancy farmers for Kharif season. Till now loans of only Rs.37 crores are provided and loans of Rs.13 crores are yet to be provided, she added. She said that Yeleswaram, Kathipudi, Mallisaala, Rampachodavaram and Rajavomangi banks are lagging behind in providing loans on LEC cards. Government deposits will be taken back in such banks, she added. She said that zero balance accounts were opened to the benificiaries under the limits of 37 ration stores in Gollaprolu. Implement the same in other areas, she ordered the bankers. We require zero balance accounts for the process of Aadhaar Seeding, she added.
