Aim for Olympic Medals : DEO

District Educational Officer, Mr. Srinivasula Reddy has stated that every sports person should aim to win Olympic medals. He has attended as a chief guest to the District School Games Association Under-14 & 17 sports selections here on Saturday, which are grandly started at Rangaraya Medical College Grounds in Kakinada. The program was held under the chairmanship of District School Games Association Secretary Mr. Srinivas. Speaking on this, DEO Mr. Srinivasula Reddy said, sports are very essential for human to get good energy for life. DSDO Ms.Ramana stated that the best players are coming from Under-14 & 17 categories only. These players will surely reach national & international level players, if they get a proper training, she added. Later, DEO started Cricket and Basket ball competitions. Secretary Mr. Srinivasa Rao stated that the selected students will go for state level competitions. Rangaraya Sports Board Chairperson Mr. Raghavendra Rao, P.E.T's Association President Mr. Sri Ramachandra Murthy, Secretary Mr. Govinda Raju, School Games Federation Secretary Mr. Srinivasa Rao, Former SGF Secretary Mr. T.V.S.Ranga, RMC P.D Mr. Sparjan Raju, Ideal college P.D Mr. Varma, District Cricket Coach Mr. D.Ravi Kumar, Mr. Rajashekar and others participated in the program.
