Former Governor of RBI and a Padmabhushan awardee, Dr. Y.V.Reddy stated that up & downs are quiet common for financial sector. He participated in 15th foundation lecture on ‘Indian Economy: Review and Prospects’ organised by Kuchibhotla Vaasanthi Foundation, Kakinada here on Saturday. The program was held under the chairmanship of Ideal College Correspondent Smt. P. Chiranjeevini Kumari. Speaking on this, he said, now a days money savings are increased more in houses than private & government organizations. He stated that there is 25% of financial growth in 1700 year and it came 0% in 1950 year, and for 2008-09 year, it is increased for 9%, that he added. He stressed the need for focusing more on education and health sectors to ensure economic growth. He had shared all his experience about the financial sector in the program. Andhra Bank DGM, Foundation members, Lecturers and many other famous personalities were attended the program.
