East Godavari District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad has received '2014-Puraskar' award for her service towards conducting programs to spread the importance of Mother language-Telugu in the district. She has received this award here on Friday, on occasion of Mother Language Day-2014 at Hyderabad from the Department of State Language & Culture and Official Language Association. Sources said, she got selected for this award for conducting several programmes during 2012 & 2013years in connection with the World Telugu Conference in the district. She has made her effort to implement the Telugu as the official language in all the government offices. She has successfully conducted Beach festival celebrations in last two years continuously with a motto to spread the importance of our culture.
