State Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Bhanwar Lal has stated that the huge publicity is required for both East & West Godavari districts to create awareness on youth about enrollment of vote, because the youth still not completely enrolled for voter id in the district. He had conducted a review meet on modifications of Voters lists with respective Electoral Registration Officers of both East & West Godavari Districts here on Saturday at Collectorate in Kakinada. Speaking on this, he said, just 0.75% of 18-19 aged youth have enrolled for voter ID in East Godavari district and 1.1% was enrolled in West Godavari district. So that he ordered officials to do more awareness programs on voter enrollments in these districts. He also ordered them to take reports from the Colleges & Universities in the districts about the students enrollment for voter ID. Normal Voting enrollment has been extended upto 20th of this month, he noticed. Public can enroll for their voter id's on 11th & 18th of this month at nearby centers in both the districts, he added.
