District Education Authority has celebrated National Education Day-2013 here on Sunday at Rajiv Vidya Mission office premises in Kakinada. According to this, District Additional Joint Collector Mr. B. Ramarao had participated as a chief guest to the program. Speaking on this, he stated that, Education is the only medicine to avoid social diseases like Untouchability, Child marriages, etc., from the society. Firstly, he had offered flowers to the statue of First Educational Minister Mr. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Along with him, MLC Mr. Chaitanya Raju, DEO Mr. K. V. Srinivasula Reddy, Rajiv Vidya Mission PO Mr. Pilli Ramesh, Prominent Social Worker & Educationalist Smt. Chiranjeevini Kumari also garlanded flowers to the statue and paid rich tributes to the well known Educationalist. Mr. B. Ramarao called upon the children in the district, that do not neglect education, because with out education there is no life for an individual, he added. Later, he had presented awards to the children, who got won in various competitions. Rajiv Vidya Mission Executive Officer Mr. Saladi Sudhakar, CMO Mr. T.
