Prof. K. C. Reddy, Chairman of AP Rajiv Education and Employment Mission has presided over the celebrations of the first Union Minister of Education Mr. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad's 124th Birth Anniversary here on Sunday at JNTU-K auditorium in Kakinada. Speaking on this, he expressed concern over the Government's attitude towards the education system in the state. He stated that the Government was neglecting to reform basic education. Later, he had distributed prizes to the students, who won different competitions held in the University. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada Vice Chancellor Mr. G. Tulasi Ram Das, Rector Mr. Satya Prasad, Registrar Mr. E. V. Prasad, Director Mr. Prasad Raju, Principals Mr. Padma Raju, Mr. Uday Bhaskar and others participated in the celebrations.
