Mr. G.Vijay Kumar has been appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) for East Godavari District. According to this, the government had issued the appointment orders to him, here on Monday. The present SP Mr. N.Shiva Sankar Reddy has been transferred to Intelligence dept. This new posting has taken place in view of the coming general elections. Mr. G.Vijay Kumar has belongs to 1998 Group-I batch. His first posting is at Warangal district as Rural DSP. Later, he served in different positions at Anantapuram, Vijayawada, Medak and other places. He will take charge to his position soon, as sources said.
