District Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) agitated yesterday near Collectorate demanding to increase pension for senior citizens and widows. On this occasion district chairman of MRPS Mr. Venkata Rao said that Government should understand the difficulties that are being faced by senior citizens and widows and increase their pension inorder to support them. Pension should be increased from Rs. 200 to Rs. 1000, he demanded. Founder of MRPS Mr. Manda Krishna is going start "Paadayatra" from Nellore on 7th of this month. MRPS leaders Mr. AppaRao, Krishna and others participated in this agitation.
