Jail for False Witnesses

Third additional judicial first class magistrate Mrs. V. Sarada Devi yesterday has given her judgement for sessions case.  In this case two people were sentenced to two years prison along with fine of Rs. 1000. According to procecution of principal civil judge court, in session case 268/2002 of one town police station, first witness is Mr. Ganga Raju, second witness is Mrs. Chintapalli Suryakantham and third witness is Mr. Chinthapalli Krishnam Raju who belong to Adavipudi in Kakinada Rural. Judge Mr. A. Vara Prasad has directly filed a case against them as they were caught for being a false witness. Knowning the fact from the remaining judge doubted these three and complained to magistrate to look after. In this way the offence made by them came into lime light. As one of the witnesses Mr. Ganga Raju was dead, the remaning two were punished.
