Amalapuram MP Mr. G.V.Harsha Kumar along with East Godavari District Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad and Mummidivaram MLA Mr. Ponnada Satish Kumar here on Saturday visited Kakinada Hope Island. Speaking on this, MP Mr. Harsha Kumar said, 'we are taking necessary steps to prepare Kakinada Hope Island as a most visiting place in the district'. He started the new Solar Lights at the Hope Island premises, which are arranged with expenses of Rs.2.5 Lakhs. He feel bad about the Fisherman problems. He stated that the sixth water plant will be arranged soon with Rs.10 Lakhs expenses in the hope island premises. The social pensions which are providing by the government every month are to be arranged near to the fisherman houses soon, he added. Later, Collector Neethu Kumari Prasad stated that, we take actions to implement 'Deepam' Gas connections scheme in the fisherman areas. Schools also need to be constructed in these areas, she added. MP Harsha Kumar ordered the officials to do plantation works in these areas. RDO Mr. G.C.Kishore Kumar, ZP CEO Mr. Kondayya Sastry and others participated in the program.
